A new look

Thanks to Dexter Rothchild of over the line productions I have a new header. The caricature was done at the Magnolia Seafair street fair. I wanted something a little more timeless, instead of making me feel old. I think I will put some pictures in a slide show later on the side bar.
A check in [...]

For Love of the Game

I have been going to and listening to or watching Baseball games as long as I can remember. It was the first sport I understood completely and was able to apply strategy to.
I always stay to the end of the game. I never leave in the 8th inning exodus.
Even when we are losing by double [...]

A Busy Little Nest

Olympics

For those who don’t know, I am a very sports friendly girl. I am not so much into playing them as cheering them on. I love love baseball, I love Summer and Winter Olympic games. I enjoy a good football game, even if my home team isn’t involved. I am a fair weather basketball person, [...]

My Favorite Birthday Gift

The Last Kennedy Brother

Ted Kennedy, the last surviving Kennedy brother has passed. I find myself saddened by the loss of this national treasure. I grew up loving studying history, and captivated by the Kennedys. This love gave me a respect for Ted and the burden he bore, as well as all he accomplished and the kind [...]

Blue Angels, Sweet Cheeks and School Shopping

We saw the blue angels yesterday, from the I-90 Bridge on Mercer Island. It was a blast, and one of my favorite traditions. I got some fabulous shots, of the Angels, both the blue, and mine.
