Quiet but busy

So it has been too quiet over here on the blog front. Sorry bout that. I have been productive on most other things, so I have been too busy to be over here. NO pictures today, which I think makes for an unattractive post, but Anyway, to the update already.

Baby Dr. visit this week. Everything is looking good, just need to survive the last of the first trimester to hopefully get past the woes and into the glows. I am not happy with all the nausea and the general lack of appeal food has. Even though I am constantly starving.

Parent teacher conference week. So it is report card time again. So far we have Katie’s she is the best in her Kindergarten class. Minutes away from reading. Really she loves tests and just seems to thrive in the whole school environment. We get Bekah’s today, and I am not looking forward to the Teacher conference cause we are having tons of problems with the new math curriculum since it is new this year, with no transition its a bit of a train wreck.

Lots of play dates with the kids. Keeping them occupied is key. We made Cinnamon ornaments yesterday, they are still drying. They make the whole house smell lovely. Crafts start in full force next week, since the kids aren’t allowed to purchase gifts this year, but instead have craft projects for the siblings they drew. Aiden got Bex, Bex got Katie, Katie got Charlotte, Charlotte got Aiden. I think the girls will help Lo with Aiden’s gift.

I also made my grandmother’s apple butter last night, and canned it myself. Totally looking forward for the banquet of food that is always Thanksgiving. Tim and I are doing the majority of the turkey work, I am in charge of the gravy, and deviled eggs, and Apple sausage stuffing. Tim is in charge of the pecan pie, and Aunt Adele’s rolls.

Knitting should have pictures, but since it is Christmas Knitting, it seems like not a good idea. So post holiday gifts I will make a picture only post of the crazy onslaught of knitting. In the mean time, I am so proud to say that this week, I have finished one pair of socks, half way through another pair, made 3 hats, 1 pair of fingerless mittens, and am determined to finish the other sock for the second pair. I have been more productive in the last week than in the last month. So, My list of knits left are, 2 pairs of socks, 1 pair of fingerless mitts, a child size hat, a child size sweater, 2 ties, and 2 more hats. That is 9 additional projects. I have so far completed 8 projects. I might make it yet.

Tonight is pizza night, and I have company nearly all day long.
