Ted Kennedy, the last surviving Kennedy brother has passed. I find myself saddened by the loss of this national treasure. I grew up loving studying history, and captivated by the Kennedys. This love gave me a respect for Ted and the burden he bore, as well as all he accomplished and the kind of man he was. He served the American people well, and cared deeply for them. He has strived for so many years to create a solution to our healthcare problems. I hope in his legacy we are able to compromise in a way that betters the cause. Farewell senator, may God be with you.
