That’s it, it’s time to super nanny on their hineys

Problem: Aiden has gone off schedule, at night. putting him down for bed, he wouldn’t stay in bed. He kept getting up and turning on the light and playing with toys.

Solution: Room switch. His old room (biggest room) now playroom. His new room is the old playroom. No toys, just bed, dresser, monkeys, blankets and floor mat. Use the stay in bed method (normal bedtime routine, then lights out and sit in another room, if he gets out of bed, put him back – no talking. As long as it takes )

Problem: All three older kids have had the tv on all day, trying to sleep watching it, fits etc.

Solution: Tv relocated to new playroom, without place to hook it up. Will wait till cable man installs new jack, and they earn it.

Problem: playroom and bedroom messes, leaving things in car, downstairs etc., and not picking up after themselves in the kitchen.

Solution: Lock box method. Things that don’t get picked up go in lock box for 3 days. Cleanup chore in kitchen assigned daily.

Problem: Aiden frustrates easily and leaps to aggression too fast.

Solution: chill spot. Chair to sit on to calm down till he can use words, not screaming or hitting.

Of course the room switch was a 30 minute project last night when I was tired of the fighting and yelling Aiden. We will see how it works, survived night 1.
