So Poor Miss Finch wrote a post about her WIPs. (That’s Works in Progress for the non Knitters). She had 7 on the needles. And, as we knitters are want to do, wants to start more, But has a rule about how many are active on the needles. So I decided to take inventory of my WIPs. I have 7. I decided maybe I should make a post and take stock of my projects. You can see what is on the sticks via pics on the right. Lets review tho.
The Bib:
It’s made of Scouts Swag. I already made a baby hat out of it with a jolly jill motif. But a bib? Really for baby drool. What was I thinking? Black silver and pink. Its hot. Love the yarn. Strips neatly too. It is so coming off the needles.
Baby Legs:
These I was going to make for my Daughter (charlotte) for christmas. But I ended up getting her the real thing. And lots of them at this warehouse sale. Loved the bargains there. But that is for another post. So anyway, Another great merino sock yarn, coming off the needles.
Baby Ripple:
Ok so this is the endless crochet blanket project, using scraps of sock yarn from other projects, so really its supposed to be ongoing anyway. Since its using scraps, it stays on the stix.
Cabled Hug:
I love this idea. Am really scared of the idea tho. It is so very nearly done. 2 more cabled sections to go, then the wrists and the seaming. Then its done. Really its a great sweater, Its just better pregnant or skinny. I think thats why I have been holding back on finishing it. I am scare that it will point out my Mama Gut. I have been working on it for about 15 months now. Thats the sad part.
The Rectangle Lace:
I started this as a gift idea. I really think the pattern and the yarn are not going together well. Its coming off the sticks. Lace and I just don’t get along that well I think. I need a better match for the kidsilk haze.
Uptown Twist:
I am almost done with a first sock. I stopped because in month 3 of my pregnancy my feet started swelling. Sock was snug, and not fitting the way I like. And I have to face the fact that I rarely put a project for myself on my priority top. Stays on the needles.
Secret Project:
For the club. It stays. It’s great. Loving it.
So – This actually helps. I have decided to rewind and reclaim needles from like 4 projects now. YAY. Thanks Poor miss finch for the motivation!

Go team! I haven’t done my frogging yet as I seriously don’t have the time to. But I’m looking forward to it.
