The Olympics now underway, means I have cast on and am knitting away on my Ravelympics challenge piece. I love it so far. Its going to make a perfect swaddle blanket too. Its pretty lightweight because I chose cotton yarns. I love the color combo, it matches her nursery perfectly. As far as the actual watching of the Olympics themselves go, I have really been enjoying it. The opening ceremonies were a hit with all of us, and Katie is really looking forward to the swimming, and gymnastics. Bekah on the other hand loves the equestrian events. (We watched a lot of the trials) I like all of the above plus a lot of the track and field, ( I love the steeple chase). We have been watching a lot a lot of the olympics compared to previous years. We have tivo’d most of todays, and tomorrows. I might actually finish the baby blanket while watching the olympics. I have put off reading the host, till I have finished the Olympics. I don’t like a lot of stop start to my reading. I like long intervals, and I am not getting that with all the TV watching.Well thats all for now…

Hmmm, I haven’t seen any of it, and I’m not knitting an Olympic project. What a wet blanket I am
. But I’m spinning up that wolf yarn and it’s gorgeous. So, did you get the Wild Flyer with your wheel? I’m going to need it if I plan to have my sanity at the end of the mohair. It’s constantly catching on the hooks.
