Finished!

I did it! I finished (minus one little bitty button) the take home outfit, and the first day home outfit for little Charlotte. My goal was to have them both done (seaming, strands weaved in the works) before breaking dawn got into my hot little hands. And look, They are! The take home outfit is a hat of my own design, slippers from the 50 booties to knit, and the outfit itself is from Debbie bliss essential baby. They are all made from Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino. The Gown is of my own design, cause I didn’t like anything I saw in bunting. I need to look over my notes and write it up and post it as a PDF here to share.

My Darling Dearest Husband went to Wegmans at midnight on Friday for me to get Breaking Dawn, and The host. So Sweet. We normally aren’t up that late. I finished it last night, and Wow. I am gonna read it again starting tomorrow. Then I will read the Host. One of my friends here in Syracuse recommended I read it, so I will. That should hold me over till opening ceremonies of the olympics, when I cast on and get started on Charlotte’s Lovey.

Gorgeous knits! I bet they feel wonderful.

The Host is great. I loved it. Most other people I’ve talked to have had a hard time getting into it, but I didn’t. It’s fantastic. And there’s a great man-crush in that one, too, but I’m not saying who. Don’t want to give anything away.

Love, love, love the pink and black outfit. Who knew that pink and black looked so adorable together.
