Big things happening here. Don’t be surprised if it’s a bit before I write again. I caught a rainbow last week. The seasons seem to finally have changed here as well. No more snow, and the warmth has arrived.
As far as the changes go, we are moving shop and house. We tried and tried to find a place in town to rent (the place above our current shop fell thru). So we started looking outside town, and an absolutely lovely home in a nearby town just was perfect. It wasn’t the first we saw, but it was the best fit for our family. I will take lots of pics after we move in. Here is a street shot for now, and a shot of the town center a few blocks away.
After going to see the house we drove into Manlius to check out the distance to the grocery store etc. (since the town itself was lovely and quaint). When driving thru town we saw a perfect space available for commercial. In town, next to other shops, restaurants, and on the promenade basically. Tons of foot traffic and a great retail space. So we called about it, and things fell into place. In reality its perfect. Since the purchase of the building our shop is in now fell thru for us, if someone were to buy it during peak selling season (late summer), we would have a hard time relocating in time for holiday sales. Let alone for the established location for people to know who and where we were to come to us for their toys. So, we are getting ready to move here…

Now I still have to get to dyeing June’s Sock club colorway, and drying it, then packing it up! Soon as I finish that, its on to packing house, and coordinating both moves. I definitely have my work cut out for me.

That store front is super cute, as is the house. I hope it all works out great for you. So much so that you can hire people to run your store and move back here.
