I finished this adorable shirt pattern I found at knitty.com. I knit it up in yarn I bought from the artful ewe when I was in kingston. Its a bamboo, merino, nylon mix. The ruffle was done in Berrocco cotton twist in cotton candy color. I even blocked it!! (this is a first for me, but worth it with this one!). I wanted to take a picture with katie in the shirt, but the ruffle wasn’t dry yet (its cotton). I did learn that no one was kidding about wool stinking when you got it wet. ewwww.
I have since started on the lovely spider web shawl I mentioned in a previous post. Its so lovely. I love the yarn I am working with as well. its the seasilk by Handmaiden.
I am so excited….
