So today on Blake Lewis Day I have finished my 2nd leg and am about to turn start the heel turn on my Zokni socks.
I am using this gorgeous self striping yarn from germany. Its called lifestyle and I have only seen it in my yarn store, but I bought losts! This is blue, sage, and a purpley brown with cream. Its a fun lacey knit. But what I am really really excited about is my new Victorian Lace today book, and getting a sea silk item started. I am very ambitious, and am thinking of doing this hexagon shawl pattern, with this beautiful sea silk yarn. I have 1200 m of this sea silk. Its
a lovely deep wine red, to a deep royal purple. Its so beautiful. I think I will need at least 3 skeins to do it tho. I am still deciding…The pattern is a little intimidating. Looks like I need a trip to the village as soon as these socks are done.
Today we are going to see Blake lewis at Bothell Landing and hear what he will be singing next week as judges choice. I am so glad that we get to have some events honoring Blake near by. Anyway, to bring everyone into the weekend, enjoy a few photos of my ADORABLE son (:
The picture on the right is of (left to right) Aiden, and my neice Allison (rachel’s daughter) getting acquainted while they were in town. She is 3 months younger than him.

That looks like fun! Great pictures!
