I know I know I have been neglecting my blog! Yes thats twitterpated with Knitting. So when we were in portland on our little Vacay we had some fun at the Zoo with the kids (its not woodland park zoo, but we made do), so here is a little slide show… Ok to start with DWTS (dancing with the stars) was awesome. My favorite Apollo Anton Ono wiped the floor with the rest. I don’t care how close the scores were, his freestyle put everyone else to shame. Joey needs to leave bye bye bye moves in his past. That sampling in both dances was [...] Ok so I hit a few yarn shops when i was in Portland at the knit purl shop and another small shop in Vancouver. I came home with some beautiful stuff. Ok, so apparently a scale that works is much more helpful. I bought a new one, and instantly lost 5lbs. I veered away from the electronic scales, and went old fashioned. I have not lost any more inches, but its a lot more impressive than the 2 lbs I had lost over a period of [...] eventhough I am out of town, i have to post this great knit-along. Mitts for mary is being hosted by a friend, and is offering some prizes in hopes of getting lots of fingerless gloves for a woman who has a medical condition that requires she wear gloves all the time. I of course will be [...] Aiden was video taped sunday night, CRAWLING!!! His motivation was daddys laptop a foot away, but he did the whole leg arm thing.
