Friday night we went to the game. It was awesome. We sat right behind homeplate. The pitcher was actually pretty good. I have been really worried about our bullpen ever since Felix hit the disabled list. Anyway, we went on Ichiro Bobblehead night. Got there before the gates opened, and still had to wait in line a while to get in (usually its no problem, but as the picture shows, ichiro bobbleheads made it a must attend game!)
So Saturday, the birthday extravaganza began. The entire family went to Tina’s hair salon in Mountlake Terrace. Everyone got some highlights in. Yes thats right, even Bekah and Katie. Adorable under all that foil, and even cuter if thats possible, after.
I spent loads of time saturday night and sunday morning repainting and decorating the playroom as part of their big present from us (the play kitchen). I love the end result it is so bright and cheery. before it was a nasty mottled yellow and gray sucking the light out of the room. Now its fun enough I like to be there.
I just put the finishing touches on Katies birthday dress, the one under the Coppellia pattern. She will be wearing it on Sunday, but I of course got some shots of her trying it on. She just looks gorgeous.
Tonight I finished the updating of the family’s scrapbooks. So I just have to finish planning the whole party thing. And presents getting put together. Thats all fun for me.
