My beautiful daughter’s birthdays are mere weeks away, and 4 days apart! So we are throwing a “family” party and a “friends” party. The “Friends” party is going to be easy, cupcakes from New York cupcakes and party hosted by the Children’s Museum (they do clean up and provide goody bags). All we are waiting on there is the RSVP’s to come in from the other kids. Is it me or does no one ever respond to RSVP anymore? So anyway, that parts done and easy. The “Family” party is a potluck deal, and short of cleaning the house and getting everything ready. Which includes the family tradition of scrapbooks. I always have them up to date for the past year on their birthdays for the family too reminisce over. Scrapbook for Katie is one page away from being finished. Bekah’s needs the entire year.
So that leaves…The presents. Which includes the painting of the play room. In all fairness it is a dingy shade of yellow with a dingy shade of gray sponged on top. We are getting them a new play kitchen from pottery barn kids in retro red, made of wood, that will hopefully last thru all our kids. With a few pots and pans and storage bins for the food and toys, pretend play is about to get more fun here!
The search for the piano teacher continues, so I am branching out. If any of you know of a good, trust worthy, piano teacher for our Bekah, please send the reference this way!
